Morgan Centre open for rapid testing during roadworks

Morgan Centre

From Monday 1 March 2021, the access route to the Lateral Flow Testing centre at the Morgan Centre, Crowthorne will be affected by planned roadworks. The centre will remain open for testing and diversion routes will be in place to make sure those with appointments can still gain access.

Anyone attending the Morgan Centre for asymptomatic Lateral Flow Testing will be able to follow the shorter local diversion routes signposting to the LFT Centre by the B3348 Dukes Ride, New Wokingham Road, Waterloo Road/Church Street. Other through traffic will be diverted around the roadworks by the B3348 Bracknell Road, A3095 Foresters Way, Rackstraw Road, A321 Yorktown Road, Crowthorne Road/Sandhurst Road. This will enable access to the centre while avoiding congestion on other routes.

Around one in three people with COVID-19 have no symptoms. By having regular asymptomatic testing, people can help stop the spread of the virus.

Appointments for those who leave home for work or volunteering, can be booked on the rapid testing page or by phoning 01344 352000.  To manage the capacity at these sites, we urge eligible people to book an appointment in advance. If you arrive without a pre-booked appointment, you may be asked to wait at a safe distance until there is availability.

Other sites already offering rapid testing are at:

  • Sandhurst Memorial Hall, Sandhurst
  • Great Hollands Pavilion, Bracknell
  • Brownlow Hall, Warfield
  • The New Priestwood Community Centre, Bracknell

If residents believe they are eligible for community testing, they can visit the rapid testing page for information on how to book an appointment.
