Home energy tips
Making your home as energy efficient as possible will improve your thermal comfort and save you money.
Cavity wall and loft works are the best buys, being the lowest cost with the greatest savings.
Replacing older boilers with more efficient condensing boilers and updating heating controls as fitting thermostatic radiator valves are the next best step in being as energy efficient as you can be.

Home energy monitors
Home energy monitors are available on loan for 3 weeks from some Bracknell Forest libraries. The monitor clips on the electricity supply cable by your meter. It shows your electricity consumption or cost on a wireless portable display inside the house. This shows the changes when you switch appliances on or off and the effect of appliances left on standby.
