Customer update on coronavirus

Due to the coronavirus situation we are suspending all in-person chaperone training and ID checks for potential chaperones.

If you wish to apply for a chaperone licence please do so below. We will be in touch regarding online training and video ID checks, if possible.

Step 1

Apply and pay for the Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) for a chaperone.

Step 2

Complete our online chaperone application form.

You will need:

  • a recent photo to upload
  • contact details for 2 referees
  • your DBS application submission reference

What to do next

Arrange an appointment to bring in your supporting ID by emailing:

The best forms of ID to bring are a:

  • valid passport
  • valid driving licence
  • recent proof of address (for example, a credit card, bank statement or utility bill dated within 3 months, or a council tax, P60 or mortgage statement within the last year)

Please note all documents must have your correct name on them (joint accounts are fine).
