Bracknell Court House

Period 1960s building that includes decommissioned courthouse and offices set in Bracknell town centre. There are good transport links to London by road and rail and convenient access to nearby parking and local facilities.

The following can be hired:

  • traditional large court room with wood panelling, bench, well and jury box
  • smaller wood panelled court room and meeting room
  • 2 unused offices, corridors, toilets, kitchenette - some still have features such as old fashioned signage and intercom panels
  • adjoining corridor and stairwell linking to unused jail cells (note: jail cells do not belong to this property)

Building management

The building is managed by local charity Involve who support and empower local charities, groups and communities in Bracknell Forest and Wokingham.

Involve work closely with Bracknell Forest Council and Berkshire Film Office to promote Bracknell Forest as a great place to film.

How to get to Bracknell Court House

By car

Bracknell Courthouse has no visitor parking, however there are nearby town centre car parks including Braccan Walk and The Avenue.

By foot

Pedestrians can enter through the High Street. An intercom is available to request access to the building (please call ‘involve’) during opening hours which are:

Monday to Thursday - 9am to 5pm
Friday - 9am to 4.30pm

The building is closed on weekends and bank holidays to the public unless prior access has been arranged.

By rail

Bracknell Railway Station, which serves as a main line between Reading and London Waterloo, is a 10 minute walk away.
