The Braccan

The Braccan

The Braccan is the original chapel, with a traditional feel. It has rich pine panelling and generous lighting. There is an atmosphere of warmth and serenity. At the moment of committal either the voile or velvet curtains may be used.

Along with the music options, The Braccan also has an organ which may be used.

One microphone is available in the chapel, located at the lectern. A radio lapel microphone is available for the person conducting the service should they wish to move around. There is also a hearing loop system.

The Braccan chapel can seat up to 98 people and there is room for a further 100 standing.

Wellington Chapel

The Wellington

Entry to the Wellington chapel is through a solid oak glass panelled door. The focus of this chapel is a large glass apex section of the roof which showcases a light and airy feel. The high windows also let in a perfect amount of natural light. This chapel is a contemporary and modern in design.

The Wellington has 112 seats and standing room for a further 38.

A TV screen either side allows you to have visual tributes during the service. A state of the art sound system has been installed to compliment any chosen music. There is no organ in the Wellington.

A choice of translucent voiles or thick green curtains can be used at the committal stage of the service.

Those with hearing aids can access the induction loop system during the service by setting them to the ‘T’ position or the appropriate setting for their device.

Both chapels benefit from regulated air conditioning and heating.
